Cory Midkiff, PT, DPT, Cert-MDT

Owner & Physical Therapist

Cory is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who received his doctoral degree from the University of Kentucky in 2013 and his Bachelors of Science degree from Murray State University in 2010. Since then he has performed an orthopedic residency and has been extensively trained in diagnostic abilities for the spine as well as orthopedic issues. His specialty training is in spinal pathologies, dry needling, and manual/manipulative techniques.

Cory is the founder of Renewed Performance, and he utilizes his physical therapy training in conjunction with his love for sports to educate parents, coaches, and athletes on optimizing their performance through the development of arm care programs, throwing programs, offseason/in-season training, as well as injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.  He also empowers each individual to expect more from themselves in order to take his/her skills to the next level.

Cory is married to his wonderful wife, Emi. They enjoy hiking, rock climbing, lifting weights, and traveling to tropical or remote places. They currently reside in western Kentucky and continue to both pursue elevated levels of education in their current fields.

Amy Jeffords, PT

Amy holds a Masters in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University. She received both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Saint Louis University. Since graduation, Amy has had a variety of clinic experience including outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing, wound care, pediatrics, and a return to her first love of outpatient orthopedics.

Amy believes in the importance of overall wellness and lifelong fitness activities. Her goal is for everyone to achieve their best potential abilities, whether that is best ability to perform your sport or living at home independently.

Amy is married to her husband, Corey. They have 3 wonderful children, Noah, Izzy, and Paityn. As a family, they enjoy outdoor activities including camping and hiking. They are also very busy with soccer and competitive cheerleading.

David Thompson, MBA, CSCS

Nutrition Consultant / Strength Coach

David is a Nutritional Consultant who attended Murray State University where he received his Master of Business Administration degree in 2013 and his Bachelors of Science degree in 2010.  He became a Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2013. Since then he has been working full-time as a Nutritional Representative, Health Educator, and Lead Analyst for corporate companies.

David is a specialist in chronic disease education, prevention, and management. Because nutrition has a huge impact on the progression of most diseases, he helps guide and educate individuals on the planning and application of their particular nutritional plans.

He also has experience working with adolescents, teenagers, young adults, senior adults, men, women, and athletes. David’s passion and goals align with Renewed Performance as he utilizes his love for nutrition and strength coaching/training to empower each individual to expect more from themselves in order to take his/her skills or lifestyle to the next level.

David is married to his lovely wife, Kaylan, and has 2 wonderful children. They enjoy biking, hiking, lifting weights, and traveling to the western part of the United States.

Pamela Hurst

Pam received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Office Administration from Paducah Community College. She has over 26 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant in the physical therapy environment. Prior to working in the field of administration, Pam worked as a Physical Therapy Technician, which makes her knowledge of the physical therapy world very well-rounded. This is a huge asset because it allows her to relate to and communicate effectively with patients.

In her free time, Pam leads a Bible study at her church, is passionate about baking, enjoys reading to relax, and loves all things crafting. She is married to the love of her life, Brent, and they love spending time with their three children and spoiling their six grandchildren.
